It’s easy to forget that all the things we use to teach kids English can also be used to teach them Spanish or another language. Poetry included!! A simple search of poems for kids in Spanish will give you some results of kids’ poems written in Spanish with their English translations.
Here is one page where the poems were shorter, they had more repetition and look a little bit easier to read. Translating it if you don’t speak Spanish shouldn’t be too difficult with Google Translate either. I hope you enjoy it!

Also children’s songs are basically short poems. We’ve been singing Head, Shoulders, Kness and Toes in Spanish also- here’s a link to it on YouTube- it’s a great way to learn vocabulary!
And here is a photo of some songs from church that I have in Spanish- another great way to learn is to learn songs you already know in English, and then learn them in Spanish!
